MY FIRST KISS :)

                                        MY  FIRST  KISS
There I stood looking at the buildings more than a century old.
Looking at the ground where we used to play. Those few familiar faces of the teachers who had grew old now.
Ah, the scent of nostalgia, the scent of school days.
   Those peaceful and carefree days…….

 Burr  burr
That vibration in my pocket brought me back from the nostalgic moments of school to the present. I saw the cell. It said ‘1 new msg’. I opened it.
‘hi sweetheart, where r u? when can we meet? ‘
That was my gf  neha .we knew each other since 2 or 3 months now…

The strong nostalgic feelings were overcome by my still stronger hormones…
I replied, ‘CCD in 15 minutes’
(sometimes I m really amazed by this so called SMS-short msg service. The time it takes to reach the other persons inbox is lesser than the time taken for my neurons to process math )

After 10 min:
There I was in the CCD as always waiting for my gf. I knew she would never turn up in 10 min.( but u know guys, I don’t know wht but waitin for a gal n then getting angry over their  delay gives a sense of dominance for guys. I m no different  ).After a futile wait of more than 40 min there she came.
All dressed up for a fashion ramp, with all d lipstick, all d nail polish, well groomed hair, gloss, make up..
And there I was.. sitting there with shabby, unshaved face, and no possible make up( but thts wht makes a man they say ) and ah now I understand  why gals are always late and guys  are always early..
She came and we exchanged warm hugs and sat down….
We sat chatting for hours about her dog ,her dress, her sister, everythin related to her but  possibly nothin that’s productive..
Then finally its time to go from ccd… now, the main part…
There came the bill which OBVIOUSLY I should pay. anyway I paid the oversized bill (the money for which u can get a monthly supply of coffee at home).
let’s move on……

The car-
I opened the door for her , she sat down.. we drove from there. After sometime we had driven to a place outside city.. a calm place …
I pulled over under the shade of a tree …and as written in section 000 of romance , a guy should make the  first move… I did…I slowly took my hand and placed it over her hand..
After sometime I had to utter d golden key words without which no treasure can b opened.
i said ‘I love u neha’.
And as I said those golden words, she held my hand tight and gave me a lovely smile, the same smile for which many a great men have fallen.
And in moments the hand holding was moved to locking of lips .
Ah MY FIRST KISS……….

Then meetin her was a routine… we spent time together .SMS’d ,called and spoke the whole day….enjoyed the bliss of being in love or say puppy love(who knew and who cared).

A year later-
                     My cell vibrated again,
‘honey can we meet, I wanna talk something important with u.’

After that day I never met her again. ….I stayed at home lonely for few days then started to make new friends.. busy with work and studies…I would sometimes go to the lakeside where  we used to sit in the evenings…a tear would slide down my eyes . Her parents had married her to someone else..  and she could not oppose them..I wiped it and went home…

After 2 years-
I stood looking at d buildings more than a century old.
Familiar faces of teachers who had grown old.
Ah the scent of nostalgia, the scent of school.
Those carefree days
Burr burr
I removed my cell to check . ‘1 new sms’ received.
I opened it…
‘Hi baby,  wher  r u?   can we meet now?’
That was my gf   nisha

Cheers

  6. well... good one! But it does reflect the reality... the pangs of a broken heart, the same old sobbing and getting back to a normal life. buddy, shit happens! U just gotta get on terms with it. Sometimes it is good to face the reality and accept it as it is. Be bold, truth doesnt change, all you can do is give names to hide it.

  12. Well, though a known theme the way its put across is very interesting with some amount of crispiness here and there.. Am happy that you dint choose to write some bedtime stories :) The flow of thoughts and the sequencing of the actions is pretty impressive.. Well, hope you continue with some different themes.. And ofcourse this story is a very good learning for girls.. atleast for me :)
    Cheers !!
